Edit: Nevermind. It was my fault. Installed it on my AHCI system without RAID enabled. Getting old, lol!

Is is just me or did Intel remove the ability to view the OROM version by using the Help and System Report option? If that's the case, seems to be a shot at trying to keep TRIM from becoming active on anything other than the 7 series chipsets.

Thanks OP. So, I installed it and I'm still able to see my OROM. Haven't tested to see if TRIM broke or anything.

The OROM version is visible under Intel RST only when RAID mode is configured in the motherboard bios.

Windows 8 Pro
Intel DZ77BH-55K Mobo
Core i7 2600k (stock)
8GB DDR3 1600Mhz

I've had this version installed for a week now, zero issues to report.
I'm using Intel SRT Caching (64GB Crucial M4 accelerating a 1 TB Caviar Black)
11.6.0.1702 OROM set to RAID in Bios.
