Hi, I just bought a smc barri. 4 port router and sharing the cable connection with 2 computers. The internet works fine, both machines can browse on the internet, check e-mails and icq. However, problems appear when I use cuteftp and mirc.
1.) For some reasons, after I got the router installed, I have to use "pasv mode" in cuteftp in order to connect to others' ftps. This is not the issue. But once I got the pasv mode on, everytime I download, it will stop/idle after it finishes downloading one file and I have to manually disconnect to the ftp and reconnect again in order to continue to download the next queue file. Anyone can help please?
2.) In mirc, I can dcc fine to others, but problem appears when they try to resume a file from me, it does not work. Any reasons?
How should I setup the router or what do I have to do in order to make them work?
