New router for my gateway

I currently have a 2wire 3801HGV gateway with ATnT Uverse.
Would this router work fine with that gateway? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...scrollFullInfo

I just dont know if theres some feature that Uverse requires for a router to work with it.

You have to make sure that your gateway is in 'bridge mode' before you can use a 3rd party router with it. In it's current state, you will end up with a 'double-NAT'. If your gateway does not support bridge mode, it will be futile to buy a third party router.
