always ready to share LotR stuff

they added a Houses of Healing scene with Aragorn! That was one of my favorite parts of the book.

I really need to finish up the last book. The trailer said there was a lot not shown in the original theatrical release that was in the book (as always). Thanks for the trailer Wart!!!

lol.

50 more minutes is alot to add to an already long movie (3:30 i believe?). although a lot of those extra scenes look pretty cool. i just dont know if i can sit for almost 4:30 and watch a movie.

They didn't carry the EE of the first two movies, so I doubt they will have ROTK EE.

Unfortunately, they didn't film the scouring of the Shire.

The scouring of the Shire was anti-climactic. After the epic battle against Sauron it was hard to work up any excitement about Pippin and Merry knocking around some punks who were little more than high-school bullies stealing milk money. The film was better off without that part, it would have made a disappointing ending to a brilliant series.

Amazon has it cheap, it's like $23 for the 4 DVD set. Add a cheapo item for a buck or two to get to $25 and it ships free. Share the Love and it comes out to even less.

In Shakespearean plays, the climax was generally one of the middle acts and the resolving act followed. ;)

Just pick it up the day it comes out at walmart.... they are usually cheaper than most online stores and get it that day.

But yeah, this movie looks hella-cool.
