My first thought was, "what in the...?" It better be damn good, hopefully there will be a good review up soon.

Not really... but if those fans work as push-pull, it might be interesting to see how it turns out.

Probably just an oddball concept, like the GeminII, and costs too much for an oddball concept, but who knows...

That is wierd

On a not so good note, it's probably not good that those things are adjustable. That means instead of being soldered in, that the heatpipes make contact with the base simply through pressure. I liken this to the same effect as putting on a heatsink without thermal grease.. It *might* work, but not too well.

It looks cool, but I doubt it's as good as the top air heatsinks around right now given the smaller fans. And at that price, it needs to compete with them.

seems like it would be interesting at the least. the fans appear to be in a push pull setup with the airflow going in a single direction. it might have been intended to help cool the motherboard elements that typically aren't hit by tower HS designs. the intake-side arm could be angled to pull air over the northbridge or ram; while the exhaust-side arm could be angled to hit the mosfets.

looks like it might have been a quick knock off job done by the oem for the original designer AURAS http://www.xbitlabs.com/articl...lay/auras-roundup.html

chinese manufacturers do this all the time. client comes in with design and specs and orders a production run. if the manufacturer feels like it, they can just order more raw materials and produce extra units during the run and sell them as another brand. Guess Auras decided not to ignore the bootlegs. too bad both versions are ineffective.
