THey are really being consistent about releasing DLC. Every week so far we've gotten at least 3 songs.

I grabbed all of these. Limelight is ftw.

All are covers though. I'm surprised there is no master for Hard to Handle. It isn't that old.

I don't know for sure, but I think it's based on more than whether or not the master is available. I'd imagine Harmonix/MTV do not have to pay as much to license the song if they re-record it themselves so perhaps they're picking and choosing which songs they want to pony up for the masters.
 
It's awesome that they're keeping to their word and releasing new DLC every week, but I'll pass on these songs. But still, great job so far Harmonix!

I'll probably get all three because I've got a couple MS Point cards from Christmas burning a hole in my pocket. The only one that I absolutely must have is "Hard to Handle", and that's mainly for my fiancee.

I really hope they release a DLC schedule like they had for the first 5 or 6 weeks. I like knowing what's coming without getting my hopes up every Tuesday morning.

Not as good as the original (surprise).

It's a personal issue for everyone, but I don't have that great an ear for the difference in many of the cover/original versions outside of the singing voice. Usually when I'm playing, my fiancee is singing so I don't mind the covers too terribly.
 
I usually don't mind the covers at all. The instruments are usually very close. Singing is sometimes not great but I'd rather the song be in the game as a cover than not at all.

WTB more Rush even if the cover singer is no Geddy. lol
