Thanks for the linky Mem

I've used RivaTuner for a while now to OC and do the refresh rate thingy.

A couple weeks ago, I did SP1, tried out the series 40's detonator drivers, and added a couple new games. Then the problems started. Seemed to have to do with On-Line gaming stufforz. (Two comps. with same hardware with independent IP addresses) I'd get the BSOD (yeah, in XP) which used to be unheard of on my comps. I haven't been able to figure out whether to blame it on SP1, the new games, 60Hz fixes or RivaTuner/new dets. (or something else I haven't even thought of yet)

Anyway, I've removed all OC and tweaks (MoBo, video) and am waiting for my son and his teenie bopper freinds to play this evening (if they can't break em.... then I'm stable)

I'm hoping it was just due to SP1 changes interracting with the old RivaTuner/detonator tweaks because cleaning out all video drivers and re-installing 40.71 with no RivaTuner usage seemed to clear it up, at least temporarily...

I know it's OT, but if you or anyone else is familiar with this kind of problem, I'd love to hear about it and try to get it fixed.

If I do turn out to be stable now, I'll try the new RivaTuner. If it works ok, then I'll start re-introducing the OCs and tweaks.

Cool, I'll be sure to pick this one up for my Radeon 9700. For those of you that don't know, RivaTuner is awesome for controlling the gamma for pretty much any video card out there.

Thanks for the update!

Now... as soon as I figure out how to optimize my Anisotropic filtering...

I see he's added low level refresh tweaks to this already excellent program. It just keeps getting better and better. :)
