New: Ring tones for Nextel phones!

Nextel is finally offering ring tones for their phones - if you have a java enabled phone you can download them.

They're not free, unfortunately, but cost $1.99 each. See their selection here. Click on the 'Ringtones' button to see the tones available. You can even listen to them.

This may or may not be a hot deal but earlier you could not get any ringtones for Nextel phones.

icJAL. That is the Java Application Loader thingy. You can use it to upload programs, ring tones, etc to your phone.

A lot of the tones are terrible to begin with, so make sure you listen before you dish out the cash.
Too bad there is no way to do it yourself from your own MIDI's. Anybody?
