Yup. Even if your link worked.. we cannot view your ZZF wishlist, since its contents are stored as a cookie on your computer.

Why such an expensive fan? You can also get the X800XL for $250 at Monarch. I would get a different PSU. The Fortron 500w is $70 at ewiz.

Thanks, gay advice though, I should have included that I will be ordering everything from ZipZoom. I have looked at that PSU and I might go with that one, and I don't think Monarch has the MSI x800xl for $250, and if they do then maybe I would consider it.

Looks like a decent system to me. I would keep the psu, not worth saving a little for the fortron, though it is a decent psu.

I might consider other fans, those tri-cools are ok but pretty dang loud. I use enermax and panaflo 120mm running at 7v in my machine and they are almost silent.

That fan isn't one of those stupid tricolor fans, it's called a tri-cool cause it has 3 speeds that's all, and I have read that it's very quiet.

I know which one it is, I have had several of them ;). to get any decent cooling out of it you have to jack up the speed and it is pretty loud. If you have a decently noisy system anyway then you won't notice, but if you are trying for quiet then you might be out of luck.

I find the Panaflo 120mm M1A undervolted to 7v are acceptably quiet while pushing a ton of air. Same thing goes for the enermax 120mm variable.

It's not all about quiet, but about how much air that fan can push and still be quiet.

you could save some money and get the connect3d x800xl for $250.

also i have a truepower 480. and it seems like a good psu. but if you are buying a new machine, get a truepower 2. it has the 24 pin atx2.0 stuff.

is the antec fan the one that has the 3 mode switch? i heard that one is kinda loud even on low so i suggest a nexus

zalman 7700.... big and heavy... why not consider xp-90 or something similar? much lighter, looks MUCH cooler with those heatpipes and can switch for any fan you like. personal opinions but i dont like how the zalman's airflow switches from sideways to forward.

arctic silver 5, can consider the ocz one, tiny bit cheaper but exact same thing

I Would also recomend the P180. I have the P160 now, I would absolutely recommend it to anybody... That is untill the P180 came out. Its a quiter machine (Special design on sidings) so the Tri cools would be less of an issue. The only problem with it is its wieght. It is heavier by a large percentage (becuase the inards are steel, thin steel, but steel) Out of the 2 One is the Lan boy of super sweet mid towers (p160) and the other is the Sonata of super weet mid towers (p180). ALso the P180 comes with 3 120mm fans so you wouldn't even need the tri cool. I would Also look at the A8N-SLI Premium (not deluxe) It has a heat pipe for the chipset (which is supposed to be so good its actually cool to the touch), PCIe/SLI settings are set in the bios (no clumsy board or jumper chips), Overclocking has been improved (305 or so has been reached vs. 310 or 311 in the DFI (which is the highest anyone has got relibly)) While not the best overclock only a couple of Mhz is missing and wouldn't be missed by any person unless they are going for a record, It even has a rear port SATA connector soldered on he board and i believe still comes with an Slot connector for 2 rear ports as well (takes up a Expansion slot on the case even though it doesn't plug into any slot).

Antec P180 is out.

Artic Silver 5 is ~$6 or less.

Ultra-D is good.

Antec P180 comes with the Tri-Cool fans.

You can get a better PSU for less.

3700+ SD is good.

Zalman is good.

Yes the P180 is out at Newegg but zipzoomfly has it in stock and for cheaper. Yes it uses the little bit noisy Tri-cools but the ALuminum/plastic/aluminum sandwhiched siding keeps the noise down greatly and shouldn't be an issue and its thermal tunneling is one if not the best designs ever.

Like others have been saying I would recommend getting the new Antec P180 case. If you get it from techonweb it will cost $108 which ins't much more than what your paying for the P160. Plus the P180 comes with Tri-Cool fans so you can scratch that off your list making the cases about equal in terms of overall price. Then there are the added benefits of better cooling and a much quitier PC. If you do decide to get the P180 and go the quiet route I would get a Seasonic S12 PSU. I just did a build pretty similiar to yours with a S12 380W PSU and it runs great and I can hardly, if at all, hear the thing.

The 7700 is ok, a bit too big and heavy for my tastes espically for the very slight cooling advantage over the 7000B series, and if I did go that big I would probably opt for a Thermalright XP-120 and then a 120mm fan of choice.

7700AlCu isn't that heavy; the 7700Cu is almost a kilo, though. The 7700 series is rated just a few degrees hotter than the XP-120/XP-90, which is pretty good considering the Zalman has no heatpipes.

One major advantage the 7700 have over the 7000 is noise. To get the same cooling efficiency, a 90mm fan with a smaller heatsink will have to spin faster than a 120mm fan with a bigger heatsink.

If not the P-180 then perhaps the SLK-3000B? That's what I'll get if I buy a new system. I don't want the size or weight of the P-180 and I believe the 3000B is a better buy than the P-160.
