After having built my last 2 comps, I jus don't feel like doing it again (time issues)...

If you were buying a system from someone ( a performance rig, not a "vanilla" ), from whom might you buy it?

I wanted the new nVidia 680i chipset Asus MB...Striker or the other one, dual core Intel cpu, 2 gb mem, 8800 nVidia vid card, Hitachi 300gb Deskstar HD, BenQ and Plextor optical drives, PC Power & Cooling 850W PS, Lian Li case would be nice... don't need monitor or speakers...
 
Will be very hard to find a prebuilt with all that, find someone local and give them so $$ for their service and have them put it together.
 
Yes, that's what I was thinking...problem is my tech guy that I typically turn to when I'm stuck has moved out of state...what a nerve...

SO... I don't have anyone now...guess I'll just have to network and get a name...

Think I'm waiting 'til Jan-Feb '07 for more 680i chipset boards to come out, and for Vista to shake-out a bit more before I jump in...
