OK, first of all I know that I read somewhere that the RAZR can't charge through USB if it has been completely drained and should charge through the AC charger for the initial charge but I can't get it to charge through USB at all (Or there is no indication that it is charging). I can't find it in the manual anymore so it must have been in the box but I can find no mention of USB charging in the manual PERIOD. When I plug it in, Windows detects the device but requires drivers. I never installed the drivers because I don't have them. Perhaps this is why it isn't charging? I think I need Motorola Phone Tools for the driver but I can't afford it yet ($50?!).
Also, I have found instructions for adding video recording support to the RAZR but it seems like MPT is needed for that also even though other programs are used. Does anyone know where I can get JUST the driver? I don't need the data cable so is there any way to download MPT?
Also, I remember reading something on engadget.com about hijacking Bluetooth headsets because of the two commonly standard default PINs being 0000 and 1234. As far as I can tell, they must be in "discovery" mode to even get that far so I don't know what they were talking about but how can I change my PIN just to be sure? I've scoured the manual and it doesn't seem possible! AFAIK, the PIN is always going to be 0000 on my Jabra BT130.
