I just got a raptor for christmas, and im trying to install it now, but its not being detected in the bios. its ata150, and i have it connected using the sata power cable/data cable from my PSU, its then connected to one of my 4 sata ports on the mobo. The bios isnt showing anything.
I just formated my old 320gig WD drive a few hours ago, because i want to use that and another seagate in raid 0, and the raptor as the OS. I just want to get the OS installed on the raptor first, so the raid driver and everything will be updated for the raid set up...
Could the drive be a dud>?
EDIT: i can feel and hear it spinning...i tried switching the sata ports and cables, but that didnt work.
EDIT: got it fixed, just needed to reset a 2nd time from the bios to refresh the system...i think...lol
