New RAM problems...

I just bought some new Corsair RAM, and my system is not recognizing it. When I boot up, it just hangs, and I can't for the life of me, figure out why/how to fix it. I have this motherbaord. Responses are gladly welcomed.

Well. I hate to mention the mundane things, but I got to:
-Is the stick of RAM firmly in?
-Did you make sure you get compatible RAM? (Check Corsair.com for compatibility lists)
-Try the sticks on a different PC
-Try only 1 stick
-Try the other stick
-If 1 stick works, do Memtest86 on it (do the same with the other stick).

-TPG

Most ASUSes (ASI if you prefer 😛) have voice POST. Plug your speakers into the green jack. Then again, you have an HP and it's a stripped down version------------->it should beep right? Consult www.asus.com - download the manual for your board and it should tell you what the beeping means (it's called a Beep Code).

Huh. I just tried it again after installing a new audio card, and everything works fine. Quite bizzare.
