I just got my new stick of cas2 pc133 256mb micron in today and tried installing it, and no post whatsoever. i tried with old ram in different slots, without old ram in different slots, and in my other computer, same thing happened. i am assuming this is a dud piece of ram, but its the first time i've seen absolutely nothing come up on the post from bad ram. my question is, since this is cas2 and i've been using cas3, is there something i should have done before install? ie: clear cmos etc. i'd like at least a 2nd opinion before i rma the stick.

thnx :)

Did you say you tried with just the old ram? It seems if the OLD ram doesn't even work, then it's the new ram. Unless the old ram didn't work anyway, which would be a reason to buy new ram. If this is the case, can you borrow a stick just to try it out?
