I picked these guys up from newegg. Since overclocking falls under pushing ram, IE FSB, Ram gets hot.

I was looking for active ram cooling that would actually fit and not be too bulky or messy.

So i ran into these guys.

Installtion was easy. It fits inside a ram slot. And the fans tilt out like so:

Noise, its not that bad, however the LED's are kinda annoying. But overall, i like it, and recomend it.

good to know.

but is that a evga 750i FTW board ur using? mine will be here today and i was startin to look at heatsinks in case i need one for my q6600 later.

i was thinking that the heatsink and fan near the cpu might get in the way.

780i i was testing it out on.

The module clips on to the slot like a ram would, so there really isnt anything that could get in its way if you can fit a ram module there.
