Hey guys...

I've currently got:

CPU: AMD FX-6100
GPU: Radeon HD 6870 1GB
MOBO: M5A78L-M/USB3
RAM: Kingston value 1333MHz 2x4gb
PSU: OCZ 650W

I'm looking to upgrade my mobo and ram and overclock my cpu... will this mobo and ram be alright and compatible?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

I've chosen these since they fit my budget (£70 for ram and £80 for mobo) and i have heard very good reviews.

FYI: My hyper 212 evo is on its way home to handle the oc temps :)

Edit: Found these badboys, would they be compatible?

According to the Asrock page, if your CPU is the 'FD6100WMW6KGU(BE)' you are good, and on all BIOS versions (which is good since Motherboards almost never come with the latest).

The memory is a tough one. The memory support list mentions the KHX16C9P1K2/16 and you are looking at the KHX16C9T3K2/8X. That doesn't mean the board will not work with your memory, just that Asrock won't guarantee it. I think you should be fine though.

Thanks for the reply, could you check out my new correct thread though, as i've changed my mind on mobo and ram.
