New Radeon installation problems

Hi,
I recently installed my new Radeon board in Windows 2000, and when it went into windows to try and install the drivers a black screen came up when it was done. I went to reboot and the windows splash screen came up, and froze mid-way through. I went into safe mode, and when i tried to reinstall the drivers there it told me a specified file could not be found, and it kept looping the install. I went back into normal mode and tried to install the updated drivers. Same problem, black screen with a blinking cursor, and a locked up splash screen when I rebooted.

I have a Athlon 900 /w 256mb ram, Asus K7V motherboard, Radeon 32mb ddr card.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
David Gorman

Well, if I uninstall the drivers I can get back into windows. So I really don't see a need to reinstall it. I have tried those drivers and have had similar luck.
