<< ATI has introduced a new video card to add more variety to their lineup. This board uses ATI's radeon graphics chipset and pairs it with 64mb of single data rate RAM. Check out the specs and a pic of the box here. Thanks goes to Kain and Eternal Wind! >>
Sounds like a waste to me. I don't think it'd be much faster and who would want an SDR now?
I think they already have enough cards too. Radeon 64 for the gamer/VIVO, AIW for gaming/VIVO/tv tuner, Radeon LE for budget (and for those who know, a radeon 32), and the VE for dualhead. There's the Radeon 32 still but the 64 isn't much more and has VIVO. The Radeon SDR is available in PCI and I guess it'd have it's uses but if you don't have an agp slot well then get a new computer you probably need it. I'd get a V5 PCI if I absolutely needed a new fast pci card anyway.
