New Quizno salads

Anyone else find this hilarious? They mention several times throughout a 30 second commercial that their salads are served with a real fork. Wow! I absolutely must have one now! 😛

They actually look very good and filling.
They are just saying they are "hearty" enough to warrent eating it with a real heafty metal fork!

i am excited to try them!

I dont like Quiznos. I friend of mine owns a Quiznos, and I think he said that at cost, a box of that prime rib meat costs around $500.

Sheeesh, how big is the box? Yeah, Quizno's is good but once you get a drink and some chips you are looking at about 10 bucks.

Quiznos sucks. I went and got the prime rib thing because it looked so good.

I was expecting a hearty sandwich instead I got an airey (sp?) thing that just disentigrated with no flavor in my mouth.

I felt ripped off.

I don't have a good alternative place to recommend though.

I want a sandwhich with roast beef and turkey, provalone and swiss cheese, jalepeno mayo and gravy on french bread or something.

I'm going to have to make it myself..

Why are people so retarded when it comes to Quiznos? It costs more because you get more. You don't need a large sub to fill you up. A large Quiznos sub is like twice as big and so much tastier than the crap you can get at Subway.

It's like comparing a burrito at Chipotle to a soft taco from Taco Bell.

I'll agree with that.

My and the wife actually eat Chipotle quite a bit.

I didn't like that prime rib sub either.

Edit: do you have an Atlanta Bread Company near you? I have some near me, and I'm pretty sure I could get a sandwich like that, or something similar.

A burrito at Chipotle is around 6 bucks. It is about the size of my head and fills me up for hours. I could go to taco bell and order about the same amount of food for 6 bucks but i like Chipotle better.

A regular size sub, about 6 bucks at quizno's, is mostly bread, probably weighs about half (if even) what the burrito does and I am still hungry. I have to add at least chips to the order to feel that I have ate a complete lunch. I can get the same size sub at Erbert & Gerberts or Jimmy Johns for 4 dollars.

Maybe the prices aren't the same in your area but around here that's how it goes. That extra 2 dollars adds up when you eat out every day.

I don't have Chipotle near me, but I have Moe's. However, they seem rather similar.

The pricing seems similar, and a burrito at noon will fill me up until 7 or 8pm, sometimes later if I don't have a very busy day.

Chipotle's is pretty hard on the wallet. I went there with a friend of mine and we ended up spending over $15 for lunch. Who cares though, it's soo good.

I agree about the prime rib. It wasn't like "real" prime rib. The texture was rubbery and the meat wasn't tender. It's more like processed meat that looks like sliced prime rib.

my friend owns a quiznos...he said he makes like $0.10 per prime rib sandwich. he makes money off the sodas.

I got one of these "real forks" the other day with my cobb salad. At first I thought they mistakenly put it in there.... but then realized it was done on purpose after seeing the commercial. I don't know what the big deal is... if anything they're wasting money. I just threw mine away like the plastic ones.

I love that prime rib sub... and the way it's made up here comes with quite a bit of meat. Unfortunately the size of the subs have gotten smaller (to compete with the cheaper subways i suppose).

That is true of all restaurants. Sodas, fries, and chips are the profit. The rest just gets people in the door to buy the sodas, fries, and chips.
