NEW Question!

the "roomie's router, used as a switch" has been reset and is handing out IP addresses.
That is my big dollar bet.
You know you have to disable DHCP on it, right?

Thanks, I had a feeling that might have had something to do with it, I was sniffing the wrong trail.

I unplugged the roomie's ruter, an restarted everything, Kicked right back on, I'm going to log into it and turn of dhcp as soon as she leaves for work... T

Thanks to you both!

No, it is a one-to-one relationship when forwarding a port to a static LAN IP.

Usually you can find a sequential additional port for the application that will work.
