New Question On The Tuniq Tower

Is the unique 9 blade design part of the reason the HSF is so good or are there better aftermarket fans. I figure if I'm spending $55 on a HSF, adding a better fan is a no brainer if there's a decent difference (I'd also like a little LED in there). I haven't seen the fan discussed at all and any insight would be appreciated.

edit: While I'm asking - how about the included theramal grease - anywhere near as good as Artic Silver 5?

There are 120x38 too, but considering the fan sits in the middle of the heat sink, I don't think they are viable here.

Tuniq TX1 grease will work just fine! This cooler dissipates so much heat, it really doesn't matter which PREMIUM grease you use.

Personally, I'll be using MX-1 (note pic for proper amount to use!) when mine arrives, but to each his own...

Are there many single blade fans out there? 🙂

I'm assuming you mean 'their multi bladed fan.'

Count the blades on the stock fan.....Nine..Right. Do not use a fan with less than nine blades as per Tuniq's recommendation.
Silverstone offers some crazy fans for your over-rated, very top heavy, expensive, unavalible heat sink. 😉
