I can't decide whether I'm really excited about this movie (loved the Punisher comic back in the day) or if I'm really scared it's just going to suck bad like the original movie

And I liked the Punisher with Dolph in it. Kicked ass, almost as good as the Toxic Avenger on B-movie scales.

bhaha i loved the toxic avenger movies. me and my father would rent these and watch them.

I never liked the Punisher comic book. I guess it was one of many attempts at reproducing the success of Batman over at DC.

Ehh, I still can't see that guy as the Punisher. In the comics he had stubble all over, was this muscular bad @$$. This guy looks like was given the 6 month Tobey Maguire makeover (like he did for Spiderman) - still a scrawny bastard.

In any case, they haven't even finished shooting the movie (or if they did, they JUST finished and are in post), plus the trailer looks like a 15 minute hackjob with cheap filler music.

I'd hold off any strong opinions until a DECENT, FINAL trailer comes out. Regardless I'll see it b/c I love The Punisher.
