New PSU vendor on the block - XClio.

I got entangled in yet another PSU thread today so in hopes of reducing those, I thought I would point out another decent entrant in the PSU competition. I found them at Newegg while researching the aforementioned query: it is the XClio line of PSUs. Some of the least expensive PSUs I've seen with active Power Factor Correction and a really full complement of connections and adapters. The 450 Watter is just a tad under $60 shipped from Newegg (but OOS last I looked - due in today) and should suffice for all but the most extreme systems. These are actually made by Channel Well (who also build Antec and other popular brand PSUs) so I have no qualms about recommending them. I personally don't care for the split rail fad, but whatcha gonna do...

I have not bought one myself yet, but the next PSU I buy will be an XClio 450. I have used several Channel Well made Antecs and others made by Channel Well and have done some checking into XClio as a company and their new line of PSUs. Channel Well is a reliable upper mid-level PSU maker.
. If I hadn't just got such a good deal on a Sparkle refurb with active PFC last week from SVC, one would have been on the order with the Silverstone Berserker case I just placed with Newegg today... I will gladly take any lumps due me for recommending them sight-unseen... Finally getting my Berserker - Yahoo!

Zepper, all of a sudden you seem so confident that these XClios are all that. Is it because they are Channel Wells, or are you on a budget?
