new PSU but computer won't boot.

I had an older Dell Dimension 2400 that died due to the older psu going out. I picked up a 350W Antec PSU from MicroCenter and installed it and it booted up fine the first time. After this, I didn't try to turn the computer on for a while until recently it wouldn't boot up at all. The PSU on the back has a manual "ON/OFF" switch. I manually had to shut it down one time because when I tried to turn it on, the fans constantly spun but nothing popped up on the monitor. Even the power light on the mobo was on but nothing else was responding. The switch is always in the ON position and when I connect the power cable from the wall to the PSU, the fans will start spinning, but nothing else. Anyone know what the problem might be? Thank You.

Motherboard could be fried... have you taken it to bits, cleaned it, and put if back together? Watch out for shorts and make sure you say the magic words.

no beeps. i doubt the motherboard is fried, the fans start to spin and the power light on the mobo comes on. capacitors are fine. i don't know, maybe ill try again; if the problem continues i'll prob just buy a new mobo and build a cheap rig inside the dell case
