well, xbox already does support it, but i wouldn't really want it this generation. maybe for xbox 2. why? have you ever played dragon's lair in 1080i mode? nice to look at, but not playable

well, xbox already does support it, but i wouldn't really want it this generation. maybe for xbox 2. why? have you ever played dragon's lair in 1080i mode? nice to look at, but not playable

Was thinking about the other posts saying something about Terminator in 1080p playable on a computer. If TV's eventually support the higher resolution, then the x-box could be a stand alone DVD player that would be really sweet, in addition to offering some mean looking game graphics.
