New Processors Inbound?

I believe I read somewhere that AMD is going to be shipping new processors, in a new format, called socket M? I'm wondering, if this is correct, does anyone know WHEN these new chips are going to start shipping. If so, I'd imagine it would drive down the prices of the X2's quite dramatically. Anyone care to comment? Thanks.

Socket AM2, I think you mean by 'socket M'

also, current scuttlebutt has it that 939 prices will go UP, to drive the move to AM2.

A quick search will reveal HEAPS of threads about AM2, it has been well covered in the past couple of months.
