Soo, I burned out my processor, seems there wasn't quite enough artic silver on my AMD,

I bought one off ebay, bah, surprise, it's bad too.

Screw it, says I, and I bought a nice OEM Duron that is cosmetically perfect from Newegg. However, my box still won't boot. (no light on motherboard, apparently, it's an ABIT KG7-RAID) everything sounds like it spins up, but no display, no beeps at all.

My question is, By burning out my processor, is there a good chance I baked the mobo too?

And if so, does anyone have an older Socket A board lying around?

lol ahh.... bummer.

Anyway, is that the problem?

metal-oxide field effect transistors?

On teh mobo?

./cry

Soo... it's basically cooked like a dead cat?

Kaput?

FUBAR?

That's kinda what I'm thinking. Soo... Someone sell me a socket A! =)

Anyway, if that's the consensus of the problem, consider this thread closed.
