New printer, maybe HP 930, maybe something else...

Well, it's time to replace my antediluvian dot-matix printer. Can anyone offer me any advice on a new printer? I'm looking to spend up to CDN$350 (about US$235). Most of what I want to print is text with some graphics, although printing photos might be nice too (but not necessary). Per-page printing costs are important too, so most of the Epson printers are probably right out. I've been considering the HP Deskjet 930/932, but the Brother HL-1030 laser and the Okidata 6W and Okidata 8W are all in my price range too.
