Hi this is my build Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit System Manufacturer: BIOSTAR Group System Model: TA790GXE 128M BIOS: Default System BIOS Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X3 710 Processor (3 CPUs), ~2.6GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM Card name: ATI Radeon HD 3800 Series
+ a 24"led asus monitor.
I just purchased a Nvidia gtx560ti card http://www.amazon.com/GTX-560-Ti-Gra...GTX560TI%2F1GB

Now if im not mistaken my psu is only rated at 430W which is less than the recommended 500w for the card. This is one I am looking at: (Will it be compatible with my new card)?

Do i even need a new power supply?

This is my current power supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817153023
I think the 560ti needs 2 supplementary 6-pin PCI Express power connectors (my current doesnt seem to have it)
Would you say that the psu I was going to buy is better? If not would i be able to find a good one in a price range like that?

You will not find a good PSU with 2 PCI-E connectors in that price range without some major sale.

I think you could get by without another power supply, just use adapters to switch from 4-pin molex to PCI-e connector.

FYI, every once in a while (like every 2 weeks), I'll see a 500/600W power supply for $40 or less from one of the major brands. Keep an eye out on slickdeals or hot deals.

They are both crap. Don't cheap out on the power supply, stick to brands and manufacturers that are known to be reliable.

Some brands I would recommend:

Anything from Corsair (CX500 is a good inexpensive unit), Antec, Seasonic, XFX (XFX 550W usually isn't too expensive, and comes with 5yr warranty), PC Power & Cooling. Rosewill Hive units are alright as well, and Capstones are top notch and very efficient.
