So if you logged in yesterday (and selected the check box to remember you), it show 'new' posts from that date. Try logging out, then logging in, to see most of the folders change to yellow.
I'd like it behave on a more per-session basis, but the only way to do that is to have it not keep me logged in.
I see what you mean there, but that would be a pain to keep on logging in every day.
When I have closed the browser (both IE7 and FF) for more than 1-2 hours; visiting will show threads that have been updated since the lasttime in blue.
Some times even just re-entering a subforum will show new thread/updates in blue.
The consistency seems to be different in terms of the time frames required for the update status to have changed. Also, using the back button is different between browsers.
Note that using different computers will not have the "last viewd timestamp" carry over between sessions.
