I'm having a problem (since my first post) that when I come here I don't see what the new posts are, i.e.: all the "folder" pictures are always blue, whereas they are supposed to turn yellow when there have been no new posts. I've got this problem in fx (official acronym of firefox (actual link to official FAQ stating this)).

I'm not sure, but I think I didn't have any problems with it in IE6, but IE7 also comes all blue all the time.

I'm not sure if nobody understood the problem, but some feedback would be helpful, I mean, 28 views, and not a single reply. Looks to me like you didn't understand what I was saying, or you were not having the same problem.

Can someone tell me if it's just me, or not? If you don't understand, post here stating so, and I'll try my best to clarify.

I could be very wrong here, but I think the timestamp used to determine which posts are 'new' is taken from your current login. So if you logged in yesterday (and selected the check box to remember you), it show 'new' posts from that date. Try logging out, then logging in, to see most of the folders change to yellow.

I'd like it behave on a more per-session basis, but the only way to do that is to have it not keep me logged in.

Okay. Don't have fx (official acronym of firefox). Don't have IE7. Don't have the problem. Can't help. Good luck!

I see what you mean there, but that would be a pain to keep on logging in every day.

When I have closed the browser (both IE7 and FF) for more than 1-2 hours; visiting will show threads that have been updated since the lasttime in blue.

Some times even just re-entering a subforum will show new thread/updates in blue.
The consistency seems to be different in terms of the time frames required for the update status to have changed. Also, using the back button is different between browsers.

Note that using different computers will not have the "last viewd timestamp" carry over between sessions.

It does in fact only show yellow after logging out. When logged in consistently, they do not update.

Is there a fix possible for this, Jason, or the other board moderators?
