New Porcupine Tree Album is AWESOME

I think they are one of the most talented bands out there. They are one of those bands that sounds AMAZING live and outside of the studio, sometimes sounding even better than recorded stuff.

Look into there Warszawa album which is Live. AMAZING performance.

Also, SLEEPWALKER, if you don't have any of their cd's definitly check into Deadwing, In Abstentia, and Lightbulb Sun. Also give the cd's a chance and listen to them all the way through. Steve Wilson is a musical genious
 
I never really got into them much either. They have some stuff I like and then there's some stuff i don't like. the stuff i like isn't as consistent enough for me to like them a lot.

that seems to happen with a lot of prog bands i've discovered though. Ayreon and Dream Theater are probably the only ones that I can say I really like. DT seems to be getting heavier and heavier in their style. I have a friend who is a big DT fan and eh told me that they are releasing a new CD this summer on the Road Runner label, and its going to be some of the heaviest music they've done yet.
