New PNY's GeForce 3 TI 200 Overclockable! Hell ya

I just got a PNY Geforce 3 Ti 200 at CompUSA. With stock fan and heatsinks and I got it up to 240 core / 550 memory!!! The bios date is 11/29/01 so this thing is fresh off the assembly line. I'm still contemplating buying the blue orb and adding some other heatsinks.

Hehe nice! What else does the PNY come with? DVI cables? Games? DVD Software?

It doesn't come with any cables. The only game it came with is Incoming Forces: Deliverance. No dvd software either.

ok Freakyguy, you are gonna be my next best friend if you can tell me how the heck you can get higher then 220/500 on the card you got.

As far as i can tell i have the SAME card as you, the PNY GF3 ti200 Verto or something like that from comp usa i think it was $199

I have O/ced it to 220/500 and the slider bars dont go any further then 220/500.. HOW dows one get past the 220/500 mark if there isnt one? (both bars are maxed for me, i cant increase it any more)

Id like to be able to OC it further cuz with them at 220/500 i still get zero artifacts and 3dmark2001 runs perfectly fine

Plz tell me how ya do it

Download nvmax or powerstrip and you can move the bars past 600 if ya like!

Use a Geforce utility program like NVMax or RivaTuner. You can download them at Guru3D here:

BTW I Love this card!

FYI it is made by MSI or so the bios says it is.

Dude that is sweet, my PNY 200 TI is a bit older and will not go faster than 210/275 without issues. At those speeds you are cooking!

My PNY TI-500 memory starts getting artifacts around 550 memory =(

I am so tempted to mod the card with a blue orb and some new ram heatsinks. Anyone have experience with these?

the idea of mounting more heatsinks/fans sounds great! where would ya actually mount the heatsinks on the card seeing that its alrdy for about 80% covered by its stock (massive) heatsinks and big fan! Can you just place them anywhere on the card?
