Subject: New Plane awesome
The plane in these pictures is still officially the Air Vehicle Number 1, a prototype, onboard the USS George Washington CVN-73 for catapult fit checks. Not exactly still Top Secret but certainly not yet made public.

I believe it will be known as the F/A-37. Although specs are classified, it is believed to be a Mach 3.5 (top speed in the Mach 4 range), super-cruise stealth fighter/bomber/interceptor with approximately a 4,000nm range. Awesome!

Why do I have a feeling that these pics should not have been released to the public and whoever did release them is going to have a very, very short career in the Navy?

anyone else think perhaps a photochop? just looks kinda fishy to me....no previous mention of this plane really seen, thought we were heading for the jsf?
where are the rear stabilizers? never seen a test plane that has the pilot's name already painted on

if it is real, cool, wanna see some better specs and other info though!

That thing looks too sweet to be real, and the full face mask/helmet looks tailor made for hot actresses :)

...and I am woefully late at hitting enter

My brother sent them to me. It looked fake so I wanted a second opinion.

Thanks.

LOL!

An intelligent, next-generation drone fighter plane develops a mind of its own and an American pilot must go up against it.

Stealth promises to be a high octane, glued-to-your-seat, action-packed adventure. It recently ended primary filming in Australia. The movie now moves to post-production, and will be completed and in theatres by 2005.

LMAO
