New Place to buy stuff ???

Hey gang,
I already posted that these guys had the ECS K7S5A board but then I did more poking around and found that they had decent prices on some nics/modems/sound cards/video cards/etc. Overall, their prices are pretty good and I bought from them before. I picked up a keyboard drawer like 3 yrs ago and need another one so I went back to see if they still had it and they did. If you are in the market, this is the cheapest place I've found for one at $15 for a keyboard drawer and mouse pad. Staples and OM want $40 for a similar thing.
Anyhow, I picked up a $15 Lucent modem and a $11 Intel one. Let's see who makes the best winmodem. I personally love the Lucent based ones w/ the version 6 generic driver.

Sorry guys, the place is Computergate but I just checked them out on resellerratings and they have a 3.5 which isn't the greatest but I never had any problems with them.

Please make the topic even more vague, and while you are at it, do the same to the description. It was very Helpful. 😀

ComputerGate has been around for a while. I used to order from them a lot in my early days of ordering computer stuff online before I started chasing hot deals. They have decent prices, they sell OEM and their shipping is ok (not the greatest but better than some online retailers.) They will not replace NewEgg but they are an alternative. They just don't have the "click" that other more popular online retailers have.

The only major problem I had with them is on one of my orders where the shipping dept. sent my hard drive and OEM Windows to the wrong address. They got my order mixed up with another order and shipped my stuff to another customer. It took several weeks to resolve the problem because Computergate kept trying to call the other customer and ask them to send my stuff to me. I finally had to tell them to I didn't want items that were shipped to another customer and I should not have to wait for the other customer for my stuff. They finally sent me my stuff.
