Until recently, I thought FuseTalk and CF was the only way to go- then I came across VBulletin at www.vbulletin.com I'm not affiliated with them in any way, but I must say it's the best I've seen. Totally customizable templates, a UBB import feature, and very low cpu use makes this a winner for me.

Check it out :)

Wow, now that's class. Come over to a developors backyard and tell him how much better a competing product is. BTW, it's not. It sucks compared to fuseTalk.

Now maybe if the thread was started with a question instead of a statement it would not have taken such a negative turn so quickly.

But I must agree that it does take some might juevos to make a claim like that based on the responses so far.

I have to agree that FuseTalk is one of the best forum designs I have seen so far. Are there any plans to make FuseTalk compatible with other Web server software? (IIS, Apache, etc?)

Rob :p

Fusetalk is completely cross platform. It works on Linux, Solaris, NT. Webserver compatibility is the same as ColdFusion.

We have a few clients running it on MySQL with RedHat 6.2

Thanks for the info Zuni!

I may try to influence a few webmasters to adopt FuseTalk for their forum needs.
