I'm holding out for the new iCrap toilet bowl, it's brushed metallic outside makes my bathroom look so much slicker. Of course, the problem is that you have to have the Apple iFlush pipes, since it doesn't work with the pipes everyone else in the world uses ;) .

icecool83 can you say sour grapes? By the way theres alot of speculation about the video and pictures being fake, or real, or fake, or real. You get the idea. appleinsider has a very long thread going on about it if youd like more info. Time will tell in four days when MacWorld SanFrancisco starts, Steve Jobs keynote actually where its expected he will introduce new products that are creating alot of buzz.

dart, maybe you didn't pick up on the sarcasm in the post...

I'd actually love to pick up an iPod if they didn't force me to buy a Mac to use it with.

*rant* I'm just getting really tired of Apple's naming scheme and incompatibilities *end rant*

xPlay by mediafour will allow an iPod to be hooked up to a PC :). You just need a firewire card. Ill admit apples naming scheme is really iDumb. youre going to have to help me out with incompatabilities though.

dart, sorry I wasn't clear, I meant that their hardware is mostly incompatible with PC hardware (damn, I'm sure that 22" LCD would be great with a PC ;) )

PS : Unfortunately I can't afford that display either way :(

Umm actually you CAN use iPod with your PC as long as you have a IEEE1394 compatible connection (Firewire or 1394 from an SB Audigy).

Check here to learn more about xPod or as it seems to have been renamed xPlay.

and/or

Check our Treo 10 the iPod competitor

I dunno.

There was quite a bit of critique on macslash about it. They say its most likely a WinCE devide running PocketBlinds in a special case.

we'll have to wait and see.

Another good point was that if this was fake, Apple would have long ago threatened every site that hosts the pics.

My understanding is that apple can't threaten the fakes; they can just threaten the real ones. Before the quicksilver towers came out, there were two pictures circulating--one that looked real, the other fake. Apple made the fake-looking picture vanish from all the well-known sources, and lo and behold that was the tower.

Same thing happened for the new (super-stupid) imac styles.

Also, apple doesn't own iwalk.com.

So the case is still open.
