The comp could probably done a bit cheaper, but it should be pretty kick-ass for non-gaming.

What combinations of HD's are you using to get 260GBs?

Hmm... $1100 could get you something better than that. Oh, and you don't have a motherboard either, it might be nice to have...

Grand total comes to $1052, which creates a better system for less than your original price. Don't worry about the CPU being slower than the 4200+, you could just do some overclocking, or leave it as-is, which would still be a fast CPU.

O sorry i meant 250gigs. Its 1 HD.

I don't game at all. So thats why i'm not really crazy about the vid card. I need CPU speed and RAM for the stuff i'm using the pc for.

Xanis, you're probably right but the thing is, the only way i could get it is if we got it on credit.

If i wanted to buy each part so i could build it myself, i have to wait untill March.

If it were me, I would wait until you can build the system yourself. You'll get better components,etc. Of course you will have to factor in the cost of an OS, that is if you plan on using Window$.
