New PC

Hey guys,

Ive decided I need a desktop... I sold my desktop middle of last year and bought a nice Toshiba laptop, however, I've decided to venture back into the desktop realm, and now need a complete PC - screen and all.

This is what I've come up with so far.

MB - ASUS-P5N32-E SLI

CPU - E6600 Intel Core 2 Duo

GFX - XFX Geforce 8800GTS 320mb DDR3 - Extreme Edition

HD - 2 x Segate 320Gb, 7200rpm, 16mb cache, NCQ, SATA-300 (want to run in raid)

Screen - LG 19" Black Fantasy LCD / 300 brightness / 1400:1: contrast / 4ms/D-Sub/ DVI (LG1900E-BF)

OS - Vista Ultimate (DSP)

Mouse - Razer Deathadder

Keyboard - Razer Tarantula

What i need recommendations on.

RAM?

PSU?

CASE?

Also - Should i go with 64bit or 32bit Vista?

- Should i spend a bit extra and get a 640mb 8800GTS?

- Would getting a Creative X-fi be worth it? I heard Vista uses its own audio stack?

- Out of the things I've listed above, would u change anything?

I'm guessing gaming but, you haven't said how you use your computer.

Sorry, ye it will be mainly for gaming/media with a bit of editing now and then.

If you needed to save money and don't care about SLI, you could get a nice P965 board.

The GTS 320MB should be fine for a 19" LCD.

RAM, I'd say get some good DDR2-800. Here's one w/ a nice rebate

PSU look at Seasonic, Corsair, PC P&C, Silverstone etc... Just get something good
