I am planning to build a pc within the next 2 weeks, just wanted some advice

PC will be used for watching movies and gaming. i am trying to keep the computer as quiet as possible. i definately want an intel processor. overclocking could be an option but not necessary. I just wanted to see if anyone had any advise on how i could make better within the same price range or if it was good enough as it is.

Well, you could replace the 8600GTS with an 8800GT (if it was actually in stock somewhere) for only 20$ more. You could also get a slightly cheaper processor and overclock it a little. EDIT: Wait, why are you paying 245$ for an 8600 GTS?
