New PC won't boot, is my motherboard dead?

I had it up and running perfectly for four days. Yesterday morning when I tried to turn the PC on, I got no display on the monitor.

I eventually removed everything from the motherboard except the CPU, expecting to hear some error beeps from the BIOS. I get no beeps, so I assume the board is dead. I checked the power supply with a voltmeter and everything is good there.
