Front Fan powers up, PSU fan is running, the CPU fan kicks on for a couple seconds and then powers off. I've tried reseating everything. Made sure all the Power, HDD Light, Reset wires were in the right spot. Plug the power supply into the video card.

I am at a loss.

I reset the CMOS by removing the battery, now it just powers up, then powers down and repeats that cycle.

If I take all the RAM out, I just get a continuous short beep which according to the manual is a power issue.

Ok, out of the Case now, only thing hooked up is 1 stick of RAM, CPU, case fan, all the case wiring for Power LED, Reset, etc. It powers up, then powers down, and up and down and up and down........#@(&$(*#&$(*#@&$(*#@&$(*#@&$(*@#&$(#@&$(@&(#@&$(@#

At first I thought it was something to do with the heat sink being not seated properly, but that is seated fine now (it wasn't). I am clearing the CMOS one more time to see what that does (probably not a damn thing).

I don't any components to test this machine out with, so I will have to start buying components to test things. But now it's either the PSU or the Mobo I would guess.

I took the ram out again and tried it, knowing it would give me continuous beeps. It still did the power up and down routine

Agggh.....I hate computers......LOL

Know what's grand? It won't be until after Christmas before I get a chance to play with a new PC. By the time NewEgg gets another one here, I will be gone on Friday and Saturday, so nothing will be delivered until after Christmas.

Really pissin me off............6 yrs later since I built my last PC and now my new one is DOA. (#*&$(*#@&$(*#@&($*&@#(*$&(#@*&$(*#@&$(*#@&($*
