This isn't your typical, humdrum, slate-colored computer. Not only is the PC known as the hip-e almost all white, but its screen and keyboard are framed in fuzzy pink fur. Or a leopard skin design. Or a graffiti-themed pattern.

I wouldn't want that piece of crap. I could build a computer 2x better than that for half the price.

The goggles ... they do nothing ....

/agree pray4mojo

The 17-inch desktop display - which boots up to screaming black and white swirls and squiggles against a lime-green backdrop...

Give me my POST screen, damnit

Heh, quick question for the kids saying looks don't matter - if looks don't matter, "y du u type lyke dis" to look "kewl 2 ur frendz"? Don't give me any crap about being lazy or saving keystrokes either; you save mere nanoseconds and I know most of you can type 75+ wpm anyway.

This will appeal to 14 year old girls who only care about their buddy list and downloading music.

theres a difference between teenager and idiot

idiots, type like that.

not all idiots are teenagers, not all teenagers are idiots. and even then, i know 23 year old asian chicks who type like that so.... they dont know how to give you any crap to begin with. they are just, dumb.

i dont see any teenagers on here typing like that, especially not in this post.

um, this PC isn't marketed for the techno geeks that frequent this board. personally i think that it's a good business idea. however, the real key is getting the right kind of exposure for these computers and putting them in the right light. they also need to come down in price IMO. i'm not sure what the specs on this thing are, but i doubt that the price/performance is alot higher than what might be found elsewhere. charging a premium is ok, but they need the right kind of market research to determine just how much of a price spread teens are willing to accept for added "style" on a device such as a computer.

Well, depends how you look at it. To me, a single "u" (pronounced 'oo' as in 'food') or "ur" (pronounced like 'err') is every bit as bad, literally gets to me as much as fingernails on a chalkboard do. I always get the mental image of an 8-10 year old eating PB&Js with the crusts cut off, at a keyboard, Pokemon on TV in the background, Britney Spears blasting from a tinny-sounding radio... But I digress, my point is scale doesn't make a difference in how I view it.

It's not cool, it's just obnoxious. It's also one of the many things that irritate me. :)
