New Pc game boxes

Hey guys i just got back from Best Buy and i noticed 3 new games have new boxes Nascar 2002, Black & White:CC and Medal Of Honor all packaged in small box i mean the size of a cracker jacks box but shorter, They are finnaly saving some trees but what sucks is the prices are not love ! What do u guys think i think this is great because i hate those big boxes for just a jewel case.

i really like european game boxes. they are dvd cases, have the manual and everything all on one little box that goes on your rack. extremely easy to keep everything together and cheap to ship.

I was about to say that...PC games should comes in DVD boxes, just like PS2, xbox, gamecube.

Jedi Outcast will be in those cool little boxes too. Saves space on my shelf and saves the manufacturer a few cents on packaging.

March. I went to my local mall looking for it, and I was a month early.

But atleast it's only a month away!!!!!!!

That's like saying if piracy were to decrease, so would the price of software.

Accually IT Would!

But this decision to reduce the size of the boxes was accually to prevent games costing more!:Q

The Large Boxes Have a Larger Footprint and take up more space on the shelf. The retailers (namely Best Buy) Were asking for lower prices from the manufactorers due to the profit per square foot was considerably less for PC games then DVD's PS2 Games and the like!

By reducing the size of the box, and the footprint you won't see an increase due to increased floor costs!
