new pc for UT3

I bought a PC for UT2004, and now it's... well, old and slow. That didn't really matter to me, since all I played was UT2004, but now there's UT3 and I need a new PC.
That being said, I still want to keep some parts, such as the monitor, the hard drive, psu and the dvd recorder. So, I need to buy a motherboard, cpu, graphics card and memory. My budget is not unlimited, but since I keep my monitor, I'll be playing at 1280x1024, so I'm guessing I don't need sli 8800gtx :D .
Now I ask for your advice. The graphics I belive it's easy to decide: 8800GT. Memory also easy: 2GB. (still, if you think I'll be better off with anything else, let me know). About the motherboard and cpu, I have no idea...

I don't need to think about future upgrades, I just need the pc for UT3 and nothing else (well, maybe empire earth 3, but I think UT3 is more demanding). When the new UT comes, I'll just buy a new pc.

Also, I believe my psu will be enough, I have a good-quality 430W psu (don't remember the brand now, I'll edit later). Am I right that it will be enough?

Overclocking is probably an option, but I want the system to perform well without it (unless there's a huge advantage for the price)

Any help is appreciated.

Cheapest solution would be to get a AMD x2 system for UT or Intel bottom system and overclock.

AMD x2 4200+
GIGABYTE GA-MA69GM-S2H
HD3850

should be more than adequate for 1280x1024 resolution.

Or if you want to go intel.
E2160 (highly overclockable and budgeted like the AMD system)
Gigabyte DS3
HD3850

I'm not afraid to overclock, but I am afraid it won't overclock as well as advertised. If I don't overclock, will that cpu (E2160) be enough?

Probably. It'll not be much of a bottleneck, anyway. You can always overclock it later if you so desire. I recommend sticking with the 8800GT, though, as it performs better than the HD3850 and HD3870.
