So,to make a short story long,i've had the same PC for 4 years (P4@2.4GHz,512 RAM,9700 Pro,40 gig Seagate and 20 gig Quantum Fireball,etc..),and i've waited an year to make a new PC,because of DX10.Now,DX10 capable cards are here, and i'm ready for a new build.

But i have a dillemma:which of these two builds should i choose? (i plan to OC both of these)

Intel Core 2 Duo 6300
Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro
Gigabyte DS3 MOBO
A DATA Vitesta 2 Gigs 667 MHz RAM
Galaxy 8800 GTS
Seagate Barracuda 320 GB 7200.10
LG DVD Writer
Forton Blue Storm II 500 Watts

OR

Intel Core 2 Duo 6300
Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro
Gigabyte S3 MOBO
A DATA Vitesta 2 Gigs 667 MHz RAM
Galaxy 8800 GTX
LG DVD writer
Forton Blue Storm II 500 Watts

Basicaly,is a GTX worth it over an HDD?Should I give up buying a new HDD in order to buy a GTX?I would use the old HDD's,btw.

I plan to play at resolutions 12x10 and 16x12.

Click the Video tab, read (including the latest Rainbow Six / Unreal 3 article) and decide.

I don't have any basis for deciding whether the extra cost is worth it to you..

For overclocking the GTS, see if anyone in the Video forum has tried it.
