LOGISYS Computer PS575XBK 575W is a bad choice. It has no 8 pin 12V power connector. It has a single rail +12V amperage rating of only 25 amps.

Thermaltake TR2 W0388RU 600W ATX 12V v2.2 Power Supply has 4+4-Pin ATX 12V connector. It has +12V1@ 32Amps, +12V2@24 Amps
$ 54.99 after mail-in rebate card

The AMD FX-8120 Zambezi has native DDR3-1866MHz memory support. It is certified by AMD for that speed with two modules.

What is your budget? What will you be using it for? When will you be buying?

1) HDD is fine. You can probably double the capacity to 1TB for only $20 more, if you are so inclined. The new slim Seagate 1TB and the Hitachi 7K1000.D use a single platter and will be faster drives than the WD Blue.

2) See my comments for 6.

3) Is this a gaming build? If not, graphics card is way overkill. If so, what games and at what resolutions? This is the one part that for many 3D games has the greatest effect on performance.

4) No. Logisys power supplies are terrible, and won't even put out 2/3 the wattage on the label. Unless you get a better graphics card or use two of them, you probably won't need more than 350-400W of power. The key is to get a power supply that at least puts out the wattage it claims to. At $25 you aren't going to get anything like that (unless the Corsair CX430 or Antec Neo Eco 400C are on sale with rebate). This XFX 450W PSU is the best cheap deal going right now. Note that these deals change all the time, so you'll have to find the right one to buy on the day you buy it.

5) A bit on the pricier side, but it is okay.

6) No. If this is for gaming (as indicated by your graphics card?) then you would be better off spending that $200 on an Intel CPU. Heck, even the Core i3 would probably be better for gaming. See this link which shows the Core i3-2100 beating the FX-8150 in 75% of the games. Note that the Core i3-2100 costs $150 less than the FX-8150, and the FX-8150 is 500MHz faster than the FX-8120 you choose. Here is the Core i5-2400 which costs $10 less than the FX-8120 you choose beating the more expensive FX-8150 in ALL games, sometimes by a little and sometimes by a lot.

7) Pretty basic case, but functional.

No, the HEC 585W is one of the most horrendous power supplies known to man. For a $600 gaming build that needs everything except for ODD, here's what I would do:

i3 2100 $110 AR
Biostar H61MGC $50
Patriot DDR3 1600 8GB $36
GTX 560 Ti $185 AR
Hitachi 7K1000.D 750GB $100
XFX 550W $55 AR
Antec Three Hundred Illusion $42 AR
Total: $578 AR

Though I disagree about the HEC being the most horrendous PSU known to man. There are plenty that are worse, such as the aforementioned Logisys. I would trust that HEC over the Logisys any day. ;)

Thanks for the  :)

WRT the PSU, I did say "one of the worst". Leaves plenty of room for other "worthy" contenders. :D I happened to acquire one and the "workmanship" was so shoddy I almost cried. The wires on each string of cables coming out of the thing aren't even the same length! On one of them, the +5V wire is shorter than the rest by a good couple of inches. D:
