First of all i would like to say hello to everybody as i am new here. I plan to build a PC so i will need some advices.

1. What YOUR PC will be used for
- casual gaming (WOW,Diablo 3,Fifa 2012)
- email, IM, browsing
- office apps : word, powerpoint, outlook, sometimes large data sheets in excel
- watching movies, i would prefer to watch 720p and 1080p movies without a problem.

2. What YOUR budget is : 600$ - 650$ max.

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from: Romania

4. IF YOU have a brand preference : No

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are : don't have any.

6. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds : Default speeds.

8. What resolution will you be using?
1920x1080

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
In the next 2 weeks
---------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the build i've been thinking of :

CPU : Intel Pentium Dual Core G840, 2800MHz, socket 1155
MB : Asus P8H61-M/LX/REV3.0
RAM : Dual Channel kit, Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB), DDR3, 1333MHz
HDD : Western Digital Caviar Blue KX, 250GB, 16MB, 7200rpm, SATA 3
PSU : Rasurbo Silent-Power DLP-55.1, 550W (a friend of mine has this model of PSU and it's very good, i don't need anything else)
Video Card : MSI Ati Radeon R6850, 1024MB, GDDR5, 256bit, PCI-E

This build costs me in my country : 600$

---------------------------------------------

The 2nd build :

APU : AMD A8-3850, 2900MHz, 32nm, 4MB, socket FM1
MB : Gigabyte A75M-D2H, socket FM1
RAM : Dual Channel kit, Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB), DDR3, 1333MHz
HDD : Western Digital Caviar Blue KX, 250GB, 16MB, 7200rpm, SATA 3
PSU : Rasurbo Silent-Power DLP-55.1, 550W

This build is ~480$

Would i be able to play those games i listed above without the dedicated MSI Radeon video card?

Which CPU is better if i use a dGPU?

Those are, more or less, two good choices, depending on your budget. You put the discrete video card with the right CPU family (Intel LGA1155). I'd have to review the minimum requirements for those games, but I imagine they can all be played on the APU, on low settings. Two other things to consider:

1. Rasurbo = meh. Got any Corsair, Seasonic, or XFX power supplies available?
2. For your non-gaming , non-movie uses, an SSD would be nice. Can you fit a Crucial M4 64GB or similar into your budget?

Or Antec. Silverstone, OCZ ZS, Enermax should also be fine

Generally I would prefer the first build, the 6850 is much more powerful than a 3870 even if you crossfire with an HD 6670 later on.
Trouble is you are not including monitor, keyboard, or mouse.

Can you play them? Yes.
Can you play them at native res with decent framerates and quality settings? No.

Overall, I like the i5 build better, especially once you throw in a decent PSU.

So i did some research and i found a deal for this PSU Sirtec HPC-500-G12S. I think it's better than that Rasurbo PSU.

I was thinking not to buy a dGPU right now and spend that extra money for a i3-2120 CPU coupled with a Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D3V mobo and Geil DDR3 8192MB (2 x 4096) 1333MHz CL9 Dragon RAM.

I will buy a dGPU in the near future, do you think it's worth it? i3 vs A6 3850.. i mean one has 2 real cores the other one has 4 cores. Also which CPU is better with a dGPU?

No, just no. Sirtec is also pretty crap. Do yourself a favor and get a decent PSU.

As for the GPU, it depends on how important the gaming part of your build is to you. If it is important, I would sacrifice the CPU all the way down to a G530 in order to get a discrete GPU.

Sirtec does some decent units, e.g. OCZ ZS series is by Sirtec. But that particular PSU lacks 80 Plus certification :/
