New Pc Build on a cheap budget

Parts I have: monitor, HDD, optical drive, peripherals

So I am trying to build a cheap gaming PC on a budget of around $350. I plan on doing some office work on it as well. I live in Australia so preferably I would like to buy from there. Is this a decent PC build? What would you change?

For your budget, this generally looks good. I am surprised you couldn't find cheaper RAM and a cheaper H61 mobo, though.

OK, fine. Here's cheaper RAM.

H61 board price depends on whether you want USB3 and/or SATA3. SATA3 is only useful for SSDs, of which I gather you have none right now. This is the cheapest possible board without either.

You could also drop 100MHz from your processor. Is that enough to get a 6850? If not, just stick with the 6770 and find the fastest Pentium G-series processor that fits your budget.

I agree with Ken. Also, the "500W" PSU in an "Aywun" (lol) case is going to be of dubious quality to say the least. This Antec 450W isn't spectacular, but it is unlikely to blow your PC up, unlike the Aywun.

Sorry to bump this thread again but I found a gigabyte case with a 420w psu, would this run the computer?

yes, but the quality of the PSU will be bad (if its not a namebrand)

Usually, yes, but it depends on the psu in question. If the case comes with a quality psu then go with it. Ideally you want to stick to name brand psu, like, Antec. Corsair, Cooler Master, Sesonic, XFX, Enermax, etc., Not necessarily in that order though. Also need to shop by models. They all max good ones and some a little less than good but for the most part they are good quality. Basically look for 80 Plus models or better. You may or may not want a modular unit as well.

In general, yes. There are some manufacturer's (Antec and Corsair come to mind) that make good cases and PSUs, but they are the exception rather than the rule.
