Folks:

I build new PC. My configuration is as follows:

Intel Dual core motehrboard + Pentium-D processor
Antec P180 Case
Fotran SAGA 400W PSU
2 SATA drive
PCI-E card
DVD-RW and CD-RW

PSU came with SATA connector. 2 CASE fans and CD/DVD connected through 4 pin connector. MOBO connected using 24 pin connector.

When I power this sucker. onl MOBO LED is ON. I did not connected monitor or key board anything yet. Not even PSU fan is is on? what is going on?

Am I missing any more connection or steps ? Please help.

Thanks,

Shreeit

Check your power switch and make sure it's plugged in the correct header. I've ran into a broken switch on a case before, so you can try testing by shorting the pins(pwr switch) with a screwdriver.

Otherwise start reseating components and boot with the minimal components.

Just checking it's power On or not. Make sure fans are working. May be disconnect even CD/DVD abd SATA and see what happen

Make sure you have your case to motherboard power connector connected firmly and in the correct direction. But I am not sure that this is problem, since you say you are getting a motherboard light.

Did you make sure there are no standoffs out of place, that could be shorting the motherboard? Try powering up with the bare minimums(cpu + HSF, 1 stick of ram, video card) disconnect hard drives, CD/DVD drives, any other PCI cards etc.
