System is fully built and running, so one last time I want to thank everyone again I couldn't be any happier with this build! I ran 3dmark and this is what I got http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/4452128 I see that it says "This result is invalid as we were unable to determine your Lucid Virtu MVP settings. Please install the latest version of SystemInfo from our website and re-run the benchmark. Your Virtu MVP software may also be an older version, please check for updates from Lucidlogix." I thought this was a tool that was just for onboard graphics and pretty much pointless to me. I also wonder why I got such a low score for physics PHYSICS SCORE 5925

Hmmm, your physics and combined scores do look a little low. Your graphics score is right on the mark, though.

What are your CPU settings? Stock clocks? How about memory?

Everything is fully stock, I wanted to run it a month and make sure nothing fails and watch temps. After that I planned on starting to OC things slowly.

Sounds like a good idea on a new build. The physics score is pretty unimportant anyway.

My guess is that if you're running fully stock, your memory is at 1333MHz. That could be affecting your physics score, in addition to the CPU being at stock. If you want a little free performance without taking any risks, manually set your memory frequency, timings, and voltage to that specified on your RAM. You can find that on the package or on the sticker attached to the RAM itself. I believe you got 1600MHz RAM, specified for 1.5v and 9-9-9-24 timings.

My timings were set to that. Oddly enough I ran it again and my graphics card got an even higher score this time, but this physics is still low. If I ever wanted to improve the physics OCing I am guessing should give it that bump other wise I would have to figure out if it's the CPU or RAM holding me back? I would buy new RAM later but wouldn't up replacing the CPU. I actually found it odd windows rated my CPU at 7.6 Oh and this was the new score http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/4453740

How exactly did you get your graphics score to go up 4000 points?

Anyway, the physics score is fine - no need to buy new RAM, and you can just eventually overclock your CPU.

Ok thanks! And I didn't do anything, when I ran it the first time I was at my office using teamviwer and closed it out before it started so I don't know if not having a monitor on did that. I also installed a update to that virtual gpu thing but it still says there is a update and the Site says it was still a problem.

Now I am having another issue that is driving me nuts! My mouse stutters and locks up. I disabled usb suspension and it seemed to stop while I was doing basic stuff. But when I am playing boarder lands 2 it starts up all over again after about 5 or 10 minutes, if I unplug the usb and plug back in it stops and starts again at random. I've read that some people run into this issue because of raid drivers so I'm going to find and delete mine since I won't be using raid. My keyboard will also do it as well, I've had this mouse and keyboard for awhile so I know they aren't the issue because I had win 7 on the old rig.

Did you install the chipset driver for your motherboard? Also usb3 drivers.

I installed every driver and tool that came with the cd for the MOBO I have also switched to one of the usb2.0 and still get the issue. I don't have the issue outside of games now. I have also noticed that my scroll wheel bounces now if it's in the free spin position. When I have it locked down and scroll there is no over scroll or bouncing, but I never had this issue before, so I am assuming it's part of the issue.

Is the mouse and keyboard wireless? Sounds like a potential interference issue.

They are wireless but I have been using these for at least 2 years without a single issue. I have seen online people experiencing the exact same issue. I was using this and playing boarderlands 2 on my older pc with no issues at all, switched to my new one with these and noticed it rather fast.

Well, just try moving the receiver. Maybe the new setup of the computer is blocking reception. I had to move my receiver after upgrading my system.

I have sadly =( it's currently in the exact same spot as where it was in my old pc, front usb bay at the top of the case. I have moved it to the back as well, every time it starts acting up if I pull the USB and adapter and plug it back in it starts working just fine. Then 5-15 minutes later starts again and I pull it again.

Can you try another (preferably wired) mouse just to completely rule out a mouse issue?

I have been caught up and not gotten to mess with my pc. I am trying to find my other mouse which is actually a gaming mouse so it's a perfect test for a wired usb. I noticed that when I tried copying some files over to a USB 3.0 flash drive that my keyboard and mouse became unusable, they would just freeze for minutes and then randomly jump. Sometimes they would both work fine while the files copied over. I have no other USB devices connected to my pc aside from this wireless receiver and now it seems like the keyboard is the one locking up even more. Sometimes it will just sit there for 30 seconds with nothing happening and then everything I typed or did suddenly catches up.

Tonight I will dig through all my bags and the room to see if I can find my USB mouse and hopefully remove my keyboard and mouse as a possible cause.
